BA to Introduce Electronic Luggage Labels

Could be a good idea if the label itself isn't too expensive in the first instance!

Although does it throw up the obvious suggestions that they can be ripped off cases and bags more easily or easier to tamper with?

Interesting.

I don't think they will be easier to rip off cases myself, actually think the opposite.

As long as airport baggage scanners can read them just as we'll as a normal tag it would be good for FFs. Maybe it could push NFC luggage tags a bit more.

Perhaps more for the regular traveler than the once a year annual summer holiday maker.

I think that is a really cool idea.
I always seem to be looking for my normal address labels and never seem to have any. Those paper address ones just dont do it for me lol

Qantas have been using the RFID bag tags for a while now.. I remember getting one in the post about 3 years? ago.
