I hardley ever get any letter from Amex, only bills.
Although I did get the nice brochure of all the posh hotels!

I get a few offers through each month but I have not used the amex card at all for about 15 months as I have been using the FCCC for the better mileage earning.

My hubby and I have separate Amex Platinum card accounts and I got the mailing and he didn't.

In the past we have had 2 mailings for other offers.

We spend about the same amount on each card each month.

£275 per annum for 2 platinum cards I think upto 5 others gold or green,1 priority pass(fully paid for member pay for additional guests) & full travel insurance for all card holders and kids not a bad deal at all even if the card is never used

Nothing sent through to me either, but then saying that it takes over a week for my statement to arrive from the printers in Fort Lauderdale! And that is with the 14 day payment window ticking!!!

Thanks,
Richard

I have never noticed the time scale for payment before but my statement arrived from Fort Lauderdale this morning 9th July and payment is due by 19th July.

The MR points transfer seems to have speeded up since the last time I did it, changed my VSFC number on the amex system and the first lot of points took about a week, transfered somemore yesterday with the system showing my correct VSFC number and they hit my account this morning WOW.

The postal statement/payment cycle really gets my goat, but since I know when my statement is going to be produced, I usually pay by debit card online at http://www.americanexpress.co.uk/myaccount :)

MR transfer speed seems to be a bit hit & miss for me - have now done 3 transfers:
1. Online - transferred on a Saturday, arrived in FC account on Monday
2. Phone - transferred on a Monday, arrived in FC account the following Monday
3. Online - transferred last Wednesday, still waiting....

Cheers
