I received a letter from Virgin Money today. It reads

'In December 2007 we wrote in response to a complaint up had raised with us and we hope you were satisfied with the way in which we dealt with the matter.'

It then goes on to say that due to an oversight they did not advise me of my right to refer the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.

They also enclose a nice leaflet from the FOS.

Anyone agree that this is a total waste of time, money and paper especially given that page 9 states 'you will need to refer your complaint within six months of the date of the final response ..'

I cant even remember what I complained about !
