Sorry for getting to this a little late[:I][:I]

At this moment will have to put down Mrs Buns & myself as 'maybe' - certainly looks like we will have to make it a day trip as too much going on work wise around that weekend[n]

I'd love to meet up with everyone and put faces to names, but not sure I could leave London on the Friday until late so it may prove difficult. It sounds like a fun idea so will keep it free in the diary and try and work something out.

Jacki - come up on the Saturday morning - you won't be the only one and you'll catch the main event which will be the Saturday :)

Must say rather looking forward to this!

So it's not just me then [:)]

I do enjoy the V-Flyer social. Not just because of what we do and where we go, but because of the great people.

Looks like Grand Central as previously mentioned do a walk up 94 1st class return from Kings Cross to York.

11:27 out, arrive 13:25 on Saturday
15:31 return, arrive 17:24 on Sunday

Is there a plan for Sunday - I don't want to leave whilst the fun is still going on!!

Nick, you can double dip at Hilton anyway so you still earn 1000 miles.

If time permits, I might get a few tips about blagging good BA F fares[}:)]

But then, V-Flyer bashes always tend to be very convivial affairs[y]

Cannot wait to meet up with everyone again - will be arriving in York on the 11:03 - good job I got my tickets before Gordon puts the prices up[:w]

Just looked on National Rail Enquiries.

Friday:- Trains leaving Kings Cross at 18:00, arriving York 19:51. First Class advance single 70
Sunday:- Trains leaving York at 16:03, arriving Kings Cross 18:15. First class advance single 70
All using National Express East Coast.

Off-peak first class return is 199

These times are just plucked out of the options returned.

Party train both ways?

Don't forget Grand Central - non stop to York!!!

FRIDAY: Sadly, latest train is at 1650, arriving 1846. First Class Advance Single: 55.00
SUNDAY: Depart York at 1531 or 2015, arriving 1724 and 2217 respectively. First Class Advance Single: 55.00

Off Peak Return: 94.00 (valid all Grand Central trains both days) - you can buy this one on the train even. No nasty prebooking and hefty cancellation fees with this lot.

Incidentally, if you decide on the National Express East Coast options now permit you to prepay First Class lounge access for 10, if you so wish.
