For those driving, the Hilton say they charge 15 per day. The nearest 24hr council car park is 10 all day. http://www.york.gov.uk/transport/Parkin ... orges_fld/

I feel the only proper course of action is to cancel the whole event forthwith.

You are aware, are you not, that this would involve a visit to Hull. And not the nice part either. 'Cause there isn't one.

Any further ideas on what the plans are for saturday pm? We've got to make an appearance at neighbour's 50'th early afternoon, so heading up for 3-4ish

Also dinner options? given the number of us, likely could be worth sorting out, or we do our own thing...

Sorry folks, knock me off the attendee list.

It's London Open House that weekend, and I totally forgot. The OH volunteers for that, and she's booked me a couple of decent building tours too.

Delightful news I am sure you will all agree, because it now looks like we will be making an appearance in York for this event, 80% likely to be on the Saturday evening but still to be confirmed.

Panic over everyone.

As I'll be jetting off elsewhere that weekend, I will not be able to make it to York.
