Indeed, especially when you also consider the 10,000 bottles of champagne loaded for the pre flight drink.

I thought the programme was good but it was such a controlled crash that it can't possibly be a fair indicator of where is 'safest' to sit. It's always going to come down to what type of crash it is.

I think the useful info is all the stuff that people on this site will already know but unfortunately those less 'educated' think they know; pay attention to the safety demo, do as instructed by the cabin crew, stow luggage safety etc.

I can't help wondering how on earth did the aircraft leave the ground with all the passengers on board, not to mention all the bottles of champagne necessary for the 1,000+ first class passengers on board.

The whole aircraft made the A380 look like a teeny-tiny Cessna given the passenger numbers
