After a fabulous weekend in Tallinn it was time to leave. The A350 currently flies back on the first slot from HEL to LHR. It was too early a start for us so we opted for the later flight and a lie-in, leisurely breakfast, swim, sauna and steamroom at the Hilton. The trade off being a standard Club Europe (Finnair equivalent) on from Helsinki.
But first it was the little ATR to bring us home through the snow.
It's a short hop, 20 minutes but interesting views.
Tallinn airport does have a lounge on the second floor. You walk past (or over) passengers passing through security and it did all look rather insecure.
The lounge was small and fairly dark but the welcome bright. Our onward boarding cards gave us access. There are light bites, cookies and cakes. The sandwiches were rather nice - a salmon, a pork and salad and chicken and parmesan (I opted for a couple of these). A variety of soft and alcoholic drinks. You really wouldn't want to be there any longer than was necessary, which for us was about half an hour.
