Move to halt BA’s potential new US routes

The Sunday Times report that BA's application to fly to cities it currently does not serve in the US have come up to opposition from US Airways who claim they would not be able to compete due to BA's dominance of slots at Heathrow.

Seems again as though Open Skies may only be interpreted how the Americans wish it to be.

It's a bit more like "polarised skies", the way I see it. [:w]

I have to agree with you, if this is going to be true open skies then too bad for US Airways.

Sigh - haven't read the article, but yet again, it does seem the shout of 'unfair' is only applied if the poor 'mericans think they're being penalised. It's just called competition, isn't it, and isn't it what the rest of us in the world have to face every day?

Sorry, US cousins here.... you're lovely people, but I can only see this the way it is....[?]
