According to the BBC, a Manchester to New York flight was cancelled yesterday because of a call to the police regarding that the cabin crew were allegedly drunk about 6 hours prior to take off.

I saw this as well. BA made it clear that it wasn't the flight deck crew.

The arrangement for this service has recently changed I believe. As previously the flight was operated by BACON staff it is now operated by LHR Long haul staff in a W patern. Maybe there were all on US time?!?! Still it shouldnt be done at all. Not good news for BA.
