Leaders living in the past?

It says on their website that they are part of TGWU which became UNITE in 2007 !

This time I do not care since they pulled the LHR-BEG-LHR flights. Christmas flights should be stress free this year....hopefully.

Talks are afoot with the Orange one to fly LGW-BEG-LGW for next year. Lets hope so

BASSA "leaders" are reputed to be earning upper 5 figure sums (5-8% of union fees) perhaps £80k/yr.
Election of new "leaders" is overdue.
Only BA cabin crew are allowed to stand.
They have postponed elections until after the dispute ends.
They are no longer eligible to stand as they have been sacked.

Why do you think they have an interest in prolonging the dispute?
