Link to Daily Mail website.

The seven months pregnant woman told to give up her British Airways seat... just so Gordon Brown could fly Club Class.... allegedly!!

Not sure how much Gordon Brown would have known about the alleged downgrades.

With thanks to Flyertalk BA board, where I found the link. y)

The defining characteristic of newspapers like the Daily Mail is the disconnect between the headline and article. The article seems reasonably balanced, simply reporting the views of the three parties concerned; the headline draws the opposite conclusion that most people would infer from reading the article beneath it - its designed to grab your attention.

This article really annoyed me....that said most articles in the Daily Fail annoy me. Its like they picked 2 of their favourite figures of hatred and made a major story out of it.

I am sure the woman woulkd have been realy delighted to have had her photo taken when she was asleep and then passed to a newspaper for publication.

Even Mr Brown is entltled to his privacy and especially when doing a private activity like sleeping.

I notice she refused to give her name to the Mail so somehow she values her privacy but not that of others.

Yep, that's how it seems to work.

I wonder how air passenger trips are completed uneventfully? But these are not news of course.

"Passenger says flight was pleasant" does not have the same impact as "Passenger made to give up seat for asylum seeking benefit fraudster and her family of 53 children".

Not that I am implying any link between characters in the DM piece and asylum seeking etc etc.

Quite right, these people should take their beef out with the Daily Heil Drivel.
