Waves from the Galleries Lounge T3

We normally do not travel to Heathrow on the day of our flight, but as it's a 4.40pm departure to Vegas so decided to chance it.
Got here in good time and thank goodness we had fast track security, the normal queue was nearly out the door and they we having to push people through who had imminent departures thru fast track.

Looks like we will be just arriving ahead of Hurricane/Tropical storm Rosa so a few days of unsettled weather to start off our Autumn break.

Hope you had a great flight and have a good time on holiday. You were very brave to stick to the plan of travelling to LHR on the day given the disruptions in place for the A14 upgrade....

We do not touch the A14 Paul, we go down the A1 as we live almost on the road it's straight down, apart from all the road speed limits it was a good run.

Had a god flight pushed back on time but had to wait nearly an hour for actual take off plus a long flight at ten hours plus. The cabin seemed to have had a refresh nice lighting, excellent tv screen very sharp with new controls, the new white company bedding.

Unfortunately the meals fell flat again with chicken like rubber and the roll was so hard could have played tennis with it. Nice pud and sandwiches for second meal, staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Looks like we will get one fine day before the rain hits, we have a car so we can get out and about. Linda

Excellent. Unfortunately every time we go near the A1 there's a closure / diversion as they work on the links with the A14...
