Anyone tried PE MAN-LAS?

We've got a great quote to fly BMI in their PE cabin. How does it compare to PE on VS flights (MAN-MCO route)?

It's crap and not worth paying extra for IMO. All you get is an extra 6/7" seat pitch and free booze.
They will be refitting the A330 shortly though, flat beds in business and the current business seats are looking very likely to be put into the PE cabin with a rumored 42" seat pitch. Once this happens, PE will become very attractive with BD :)

Thanks for the reply! I thought that must be the case. Any ideas on the refit time scale? We're looking at December flights.

It should be done by then, they don't have a big fleet to refit, they are talking spring/early summer to do it.

Yeh the 330s are being refitted- BD are claiming that there ex business seats which will be in PE will be the best offered by any UK airline.

Yes they are removing a row from Business and taking a row from PE and the bank of the middle 4 seats is being reduced to 2 seats. So a much reduced capacity in PE & Business making those award bookings even harder to get hold of now :(

With a current fleet of TWO A330s (the Star Alliance A330 is on loan to VK) and 1 767-300 then good luck to them!

We flew in the New Economy to BGI and it was a waste of money, the flight was through Virgin Holidays, it was terrible. The Business is fantastic though, i much prefer the lie seat as opposed to the UC Suite, just my opinion though.
