Last minute business trip to Stockholm.
Joined 2 colleagues and arrived at LCY at around 5pm.
Having checked in online (using my iPhone, a breeze), we headed straight to the bar for a few “cold ones”. I always like the atmosphere at LCY, seems a bit of a party atmosphere every time I’ve been there during the evening, and this time was no exception.
Only cabin baggage on this one, so headed off to the gate, iPhone in hand with boarding card visible. Scanned through and on to the plane in no time – the whole process from check in online to boarding the plane a total breeze.
Firmly ensconced in 3A and a rapid take off later, drinks (Pommerie I think) served, a very pleasant lamb and potatoe dish followed which was very good. Cheese biscuits and rubarb/custard – can you believe that?
More drinks etc, and 2 hours later landing at ARN.
Altogether, a very efficient and pleasant journey – the BA cabin staff were highly efficient and friendly with no cause for complaint at all.
Very quick off the plane and into a taxi, headed for central Stockholm.
Well done BA – oh yes, and I still love those little Embrear planes!
