I am not sure how much interest there is in these reports so something different.
My flights home were as before fantastic. Emirates delivered throughout.

So a few photos.

Always interested to read TRs from VS and also comparable to other carriers... although I get the feeling VS have some hell of a way to go to be comparable with this :?

Look VS, portions of food that not only look edible but also they fit the plates (and no don't get smaller plates :P )

Cheers for posting y) y) and hope you enjoyed your trip 8D

Looks like Emirates delivered again and that you enjoyed Australia.

I trust you are coming south next time, Australia is much better away from Queensland (family excepted). After all Qld is the state that doesn't have daylight savings as it would ruin the curtains and confuse the cows!

Looking forward to trying the EK A380 over the Tasman in a couple of weeks.

I almost feel as if I have had a holiday too! One small complaint - you are a bit selfish when it comes to sharing the champagne! :D

Always interesting and informative, IMO.

That picture of you clutching something refreshing - is that a new suite configuration? :D It almost looks as if the whole thing could fold up around you like an egg...

The key thing for me is that this, the EK product, is significantly cheaper on the OZ run than say VS, BA or QF.

On both my long hauls to OZ in the last six months EK has delivered in all ways. I can even forgive them the huge J lounge in DXB but only because I have found a very nice EK alternative there!!

However I shall not become a fanboy of EK; when I start looking at availablity for my January departing "Adventure before Dementia" part 3, price will, as always, be a significant factor.

Paul, that is a splendid thought and would make life a lot easier.

No Dom P on the way home, just Moet and then vintage Veuve. y)

And one day Jacki, one day. :X

And finally,
EK001, the A380, about to land at Heathrow.
