VX76 IAD-SFO 12 May 2009 First - Live

Well the night before was crazy. See it was the last night I was to spend full time at my Clifton house. When I return I will live full time in my Washington DC condo. I was at the Clifton house for over 17 years.
Packing was interesting. I moved most of my clothes over the last weekend to the DC condo. Did not want to drive to DC so might have to do shopping.
Mommy gave me a ride to Dulles Airport. We stopped at Starbucks and got coffee. Was a slightly sad saying good bye to all my baristas that I visit for my morning fix (then mid morning, pre afternoon, etc.). No traffic at all.
Arrived at the airport. Said good bye to Mommy. Check in was interesting. I had to wait 24 minutes as the first person in the First class line. The agent was taking Main Cabin folks. I sound like a prick but I paid for this ticket so I sorta want what I paid my money for. What a concept.
Boarded on time. No blanket. No pillow. Funny as the online photos feature pillows and blankets. And they are in the First details page on the website. Changed into my VS Sleep Suit to be 'classy'. Pre flight drinks were good. Coffee and Baileys.
Take off was quick. Got up to get laptop and the flight attendant ran over and took me to sit down. Very VS flight. I get the drift that the First FA might be a VS exchange FA if that program exist.
Just ordered breakfast. No menus given.
