Return flight from Jersey to Southampton. I had a lift to the airport so was there in plenty of time and managed to get SEQ 01 (at last!)

. Airport was fairly quiet and only took a few minutes to get through security. Once through security had a quick look round Duty free and the other shops. Blue Islands have their own Lounge near the Gate where you can wait. Nothing like the lounges at LHR; but free hot & cold drinks, small selection of snacks, newspapers and free Wi-Fi. Knowing that there was nothing once onboard aircraft I had a couple of cups of coffee & biscuits. About 20 mins before departure called to Gate where it transpired that there were only 8 passengers on the flight. Boarding just before departure time and as with outward a Jetstream 32 aircraft with 2 crew. Left the Gate a few minutes late, but no other aircraft in front of us so a quick taxi and take off. Flight was a little bumpy compared to the outward. Routed over the Isle of Wight, then to the East of Southampton, turning sharp left over Winchester and landing from the north. As with the outward trip, a flight time of only 33 minutes. Short taxi and off the aircraft at 1850. Then onto bus for short ride to terminal. Collected bag and headed to the station and managed to catch 1902 train.
Overall very impressed with Blue Islands

compared to other options available and will definitely fly with them again. Southampton airport also very handy for me when compared to Gatwick or Luton.
