Overnight trip to Edinburgh for work. Was originally booked on 07:00 departure, but altered booking to 08:55 - even though it is LCY, I decided that 07:00 was just too early.

Security was a bit slow this time around - more people than usual. Airside was also busier, but the free wifi is now easier to use and faster. Flight this time departed from Gate 10 - furthest gate off to the left - far too small gate holding area as they kept on bunching us before boarding.

The usual short taxi and off we headed from a grey and wet London. After take off breakfast was served - roll, orange juice and cooked English. I see the scrambled eggs have now been replaced with baked beans. Only soft drinks available were water/juice and just when I wanted a diet coke!

Flight was quick and crew were friendly and efficient throughout. Landed a few minutes early to a slightly less grey and less overcast Edinburgh!

Less grey and overcast Edinburgh!?! But according to Apple maps are they not constantly hiding under cloud cover :P

Thanks for posting and yes it does sound like replacing scrambled eggs with baked beans for breakfast is pure lunacy... let's hope they don't do it again. Water and juice is fair for brekkie, don't want to have people on sugar highs too early in the morning..

Cheers and hope it was a productive trip 8D
