After an excellent and well recommended weeks all inclusive in Sousse,Tunisia it was time to fly back to the cold but sunny UK. Our transfer was prompt at 7.30am and we arrived in good time to a reasonably quiet Enfidha airport.

Check in was pleasant and polite, bags slightly over limit ): but no fuss made y) Watch out if you come to Tunisia as you can not take any Dinar out of the country. You can change it at the airport but we didn't have much so we spent it in the bar/restaurant ):

The airport looks pretty new and fresh but, as a non smoker, the atmosphere is somewhat smoky! Duty free was a little expensive v( so no purchases :(

Boarding was pretty quick, smiles at the gate and on board. Once again we were on a 737-800. Aircraft was clean, seats tidy and comfortable.

Captain came on to say we were all boarded and had 120mph headwinds predicted so flight time was only 2hrs and 25mins but, due to restrictions on the arrival slot, we could not take off early.

We had a reasonably long taxi out but with the quick flight time our arrival into LGW should be slightly early.
CC pleasant and polite as per outbound flight y)

The usual sell of the beer, wine, food etc - stuff you get from scheduled airlines for free! This was not a hard sell though and I have taken advantage of a couple of beers ):

Great to see that Thomson CC and pax observed the 2 mins impeccably, respect due to all our serving and lost troops oo) oo) oo)

Our flight then took in Paris and Brighton before approaching Gatwick from the east and landing 30 mins early at 12.50 :-)
Superbly quick from plane to car via Airparks then on the road back home.

Good job Thomson y) y) y)

Good to see Thomson looked after you so well on the outward and return flights.
