New uprated MacBook Pro!

Mmm, now they do look lush.

Faster CPU's, 2GB as std, better screens and improved GPU's. Very tempted, and with the dollar rate and discount :)

Unless you really need to upgrade now, I would wait until the next product revision. That is unless you are a regular upgrader. Intel is launching the next major processor revision later this summer. The next generation MacBook Pro will feature these new 45nm technology processors which are codenamed Penryn.

By that point, Apple may incorporate flash memory into the unit to boost startup and application launch performance. These next gen MacBook Pro systems may appear in conjunction with the release of Mac OS X Leopard in October.

Also as a side note..quad cores will be dropping in price around Aug/Sept, right now they are around $500...by Aug/Aept they should be in the $299 area.

Think I'm going to get one. Just sold my CD iMac and will be selling my CD MacBook soon as well. I was always put of by the MBP screens as they always looked a bit dull, but the new LED backlight ones looks SO much better.
