How can Virgin base 8 333's at LHR when at the same time SRB is saying how they are full of capacity there, also they probably wont replace the 343's as they are not due to leave until 2013 when the 787's arrive?

It's a very interesting question.... With the innovative new products and services that the 333 will bring I would have thought that out of all the leisure routes, BGI is most likely.
Having said that, this is always a busy flight on a 744 so it would be unlikely to have the capacity to meet demand, especially in Upper.

Unless there are some new routes in the pipeline that we don't know about yet???!

All good, provided they block VOIP.

Inflight internet is strangely wonderful. I mean, it's not as if I can't get connectivity 99% of the time when I'm on the ground, but in the air the ability to be in constant contact with friends on the planet's surface is a really novelty; and I say that because I'm typing this post from a Virgin America flight.

Having spent my entire adult life learning the paradigm that "on a flight" = "out of touch", this is a strange by compelling new feeling. But, as Darren points out; they better block VOIP!
