i have lost count how many QF flights have returned to their outgoing airport with problems now

Good that this did not happen half way through the flight!
Not a good divert there!
Sounds like
pax were not happy. Now 4 in just 2 weeks giving QF a very bad press.
They were not told reason for return - all electrics were out. Not very pleasant for anyone who remembered the Dubai UPS flight.

Not having a good time at the moment, QF, are they...
Many on other sites would point to outsourced maintenance as a route cause, but who can say.
At least, this time, it's not RR engines or an Airbus.....bet it doesn't get the same coverage in the US media...

And they just had another one go tech as well, flight out of JNB had to shut down an engine and return to JNB.
