Hi,

I've always wondered how G-VAIR's name is Maiden Tokyo?
As all the others have some kind of link to the reg, e.g G-VFIZ=Bubbles G-VMEG=Mystic Maiden.

Cheers,
Dan

They're not always linked - G-VSKY was China Girl and G-VXLG Ruby Tuesday and G-VAST Ladybird etc etc etc

On the subject of Ladybird, how come theres 2 of them? I know technically one is Ladybird and the other is Lady Bird but its still the same thing in my book! Maybe it was a Friday afternoon when they had to come up with it?!

Pretty sure one of original 747's was called Maiden Tokyo too. Think it was G-TKYO. Tokyo was the third route after Newark and Miami

I don't know why there's two ladybirds, clearly someone with not much imagination was doing the naming that day! And we've had two scarlet ladies - G-VGIN and G-VRED
