VS11/12 served by A340-600 this autumn

Just noticed on seat map for our return flight from Boston this Oct that the a/c has changed from A340-300 to a 600. We had 2K & 3K on the 300, now we've been allocated 9G & 9K. All seats in rows 1 - 7 appear to have been blocked off [:(]

Looking at seat ratings looks like 8A & 9A will now be our best bet, given that we were keen to face the partition rather than person in opposite suite, unless anyone else has a better recommendation?

On the A340-600, rows 1-7 are used for the Snooze Zone on flights which operate with one, hence them being blocked out.

On a similar note, I've noticed that both LAX flights (both the 7/8 and 23/24) have been going with A346 equipment this week.

If you fancy the snooze zone (rows 1-7) just give a ring to reservations and they will release the seats to you. They are blocked on the website to avoid people grabbing them without realizing that they are "snooze zone" seats.

My flight on VS011 in May has just gone the other way - from 346 to 744. Only noticed because I went to Manage my Booking to check that my seats were still as originally booked, and there it was, a 744[^] Checked my seats and ditched horrible 76H and K (which VS had very kindly transferred me into) [:(!] to lovely 74A and C. Hoorah[y]
