I have to say it make's very pleasant reading the love in's/rants about jolly old UC and it would appear that most people on this forum have experienced it more than once, some people it would seem have'nt ever turned right, so how much do you all spend lining the bearded one's pocket each year for your head massages and stretched taxi's:)

As you can guess you're not the first person to wonder this :). See here for some examples (which I found by typing Afford UC into the search engine! Suffice to say that a lot of people here have started in Y (self included) and clawed our way up as our priorities change. I'm a big fan of S->G personally...

It's turn left BTW ;). For my part I am happy to blow miles on upgrading S to G. But I find it difficult to part with real money.

Whats the "love-ins" bit about - Probably being thick, so didn't understand I am afraid.

My trips are usually pleaseure and the upgrade price less my 10% discount with Virgin Holiday is not really a great deal of money in the great scheme of things.

Did pay £3700 to get to Vegas but I got triple miles back and I had the money available so what can you do, lol

We still turn right quite often although this is a mixture of economy and PE. Still can't get my head around UC costs yet although we expect to change this view when we no longer have to pay for the offspring.

I did sit down and work out our holiday budget for this year and that was quite scary, I could get a new Z4 if we didn't go anywhere else, but I don't think the missus would be happy about that on both counts[:#].

Oh well

Thank you for the clarification GJ. Well lots of people here are fans, particularly of UC and UCS. So I guess that is fair, particularly when balanced, as G-Vsky says, by a few rants (which of course provides some balance, maybe not to the satisfaction of a stats expert, but nevertheless some balance).
