Just a quick reminder for those that were intending to take advantage of the January Special Offers:

The current fare sale finishes at midnight 31st January (aka: tonight). So, if anyone wants one of those bargain Economy or Premium Economy tickets, you'd better get moving ;)[:0]

Funnily enough - so have AA ... Nothing like a January sale that runs 3 weeks into February... Ticket sales not as hoped??

I got my flights booked at 8pm last night, only to be told to phone back 2nd Feb - they couldnt confirm the BMI connections there & then.
Looks like my maiden Virgin flight will be in economy going to NYC June 5th & barring any mishaps, my 1st PE will be June 25th coming back.

Also - now earn points on the cheapest Economy fares - so with any with any luck i`ll be on the verge of a free 1-way UC flight, or UC return upgrade from PE, so looking like 2007 holiday is sorted too [y]

Cunningly marketed as a stateside sizzler , not " january sale extended for 3 weeks" .... nice touch, making the fares unavailable for 36 hours[:w]

If furniture shops can have a perpetual sale that changes its name every now and again, I suppose VS can do the same. [8D];)[:I]

Here's another reminder that the current fare sale on the VS website ends tonight.

Premium Economy return fares from LHR-NYC from GBP449.00. SFO/LAX from GBP498.00. More destinations available. Economy from GBP229.00. All fares include tax. Weekend surcharges applicable. Always read the fine print.

So - when's the next sale due to begin? Is there a time of year when the 'best' sale prices abound?

Most (if not all) of these have been extended to 24 Feb.

The ones I checked were miles earning, too..

So tempting!

This is getting silly now.

"LATEST" fare sale is now launched. This time, book before 21st March!

Economy Sale Fares, and Premium Economy Sale Fares.

Have to say, it's nowhere near as good as before. The same PE seat during May that was £618 until yesterday is now £839 in the current "sale"... [:0]

That's pretty much the same, if not more, than it would be in the first place.......
