Hello,

Does anyone know how long (approx) it takes for a Customer Service credit of FC miles to an account?

I raised my poor UC service to them recently and they responded with a very detailed and specific letter address all of my concerns. It was nice to receive a letter that actually addressed my concerns rather than a standard we are sorry letter[y]

Good on Virgin for taking the time to respond properly. I have been given 10000 miles for my inconvenience.

I should be pretty much immediate. If the offer was by letter, I am surprised they are not already there - normally they say something like "as a recognition of the inconvenience we have credited 10k miles" (ie past tense), but maybe they are waiting for you to accept the offer.

I've had them credited immediately and also waited for weeks with no sign - a quick email to Customer Services/Customer Relations (depending who replied) usually gets it sorted if they're not credited within a couple of weeks.

Cheers

I'm a little disappointed with customer services. I had a little moan a couple of weeks ago about the appartent seat pitch lottery in Y, and how I spent 11 hours in one row in great discomfort, yet in another row I felt comfortable. Admittedly it was only a general gripe, asking them to be a little more honest about seat pitch, since for a 6'5" guy, this is a big deciding factor on which airline i choose.
But except for the automated response, I have received nothing, not even a "don't worry, the new Econ and PE refits will standardise the seat pitch".
Maybe it's just a marketing ploy, and they will op-up my next flight to give me a taste of better things i could be paying for [:o)]

I'm sure you're right - that'll be the reason! [:?]

Best wishes
