Hi there
The K.ID backpack is a 'take-home' bag pack full of things to keep your children amused. Last time i saw one it had colouring books and crayons, a few small toys/activity items and some munchies and juice. I think it had kid sized sunglasses too.
Check out the VS website section on Travelling with Children for more information on the services they provide for Children.
What were you hoping to put in there? You can always contact VS or Customer Services to see what they can arrange if it something similar to the services they offer for arranging cakes and Champagne onboard.
Hope this helps?
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Traci
I would call Customer Services and see what they have to say. You could try Flying Club if they cannot help. If neither of those avenues are useful, you could always have a word with the crew on the day and see if they would give the gifts to your children?
Whatever happens, im sure your kids will have a fab trip!
Thanks,
Sarah

When you say something included, do you mean as a one off as a surprise for your kids or a permanent inclusion to improve the product?
If it's a one off for your own personal use it could be very hard. The kid packs are distributed to the gates by a contractor from storage, and just left in a big bag. I could imagine it would be hard to pinpoint one or two packs, add something in then make sure they are definately given to you. Then there's the security issue with that - VS doesn't take anything off passengers to give to someone else, especially airside.
But if you're talking about addind another product into it, contact customer services who should give you or pass on the details to the relevant department.
Looks like you are asking for a contact in purchasing, as you sound as if you want to add something to all packs as a business idea.
Our In-flight services department will be one area that will be very important to this.
I suggest you put a decent very detailed business plan together, price per unit etc, have a manufacturing base close to one of our bases or overseas airports to help us drive costs down etc, high output of product (keeps it cheap for us, and ensures constant supply), financial backing etc, expert comment on its 'usefulness' in flight, all the safety aspects covered (remember 35,000 feet is a long way from a hospital), then contact the Office.
If it's just for one of your off-spring etc, firstly, ignore the above, then just call Customer Service and they might be able to help. Alternatively leave it till the airport and request it there.

Er....I do work at the airport and give out Kids packs - i know the process and i really don't think it'll be possible. You can't guarantee which packs will end up where, espcially when some are distributed then taken back or taken to another gate...there's too many variables.
The only thing i can think of is if the Kids packs are given to mum and dad and then something can be slipped in
