I was hoping to get the insight of some members on this one:

I am about to pass through the LHR clubhouse on in a couple of weeks before heading out to BOM again. I have decided to eat at the clubhouse prior to boarding (especially after the food on my last LHR-BOM sector). Whenever I have been in the clubhouse I have grabbed a small salad from the deli however I haven't ever eaten a full meal. What is the food like in the CH? Does anyone have any highlights from the menu and wine list (which I am assuming is different to that of the UC cabin)? Is this even a good idea?

Thanks for any input your able to provide?

The food in the CH is much better than in UC. Last month I had a cottage/shepherds pie with a parsnip mash on top(I think, its all a bit blurred as the 'mixologist' was trying out his new cocktails on me)!!!! The wife had a sea bass with pak-choi and soy sauce which was very good. I can't remember what else was on the menu, but there are several main meal options.

I recommend to eat in the CH, drink lots and pass out on the plane.

Have a good trip.
Mark.
