We're travelling to Orlando with VH at the end of this month. Last week, Mrs A380 received a call at home from the local rep introducing herself and talking through all the excursions VH do as well as e-mailing the details to her.

Whilst the more cynical will see this as a marketing ploy to sell more excursions, we thought it was an excellent touch and really helped get us up for the holiday.[y]

If it means you can still get the info you need without having to attend one of those manic welcome meetings with boozin parents that let 50 or 60 wild kids chase each other around a room, thats a brillient idea.

We got a call on Saturday too, from 'Steve' the Orlando rep. Nice a touch as it was, the main aim was to sell tickets. When I responded to his email by saying that I'd 'browse' the documents he sent and book at the welcome meeting, a reply appeared in my inbox faster than you can say 15% commission urging me to book via him.

The very good news is that the flight, hotel and car tickets arrived on Monday [^]
