At JFK in the CH, very busy ... I asked why and was told that VS4 was 'leaking' as she left the gate so everyone is back until fixed. What joy, a leaking plane[:0]

Whatever it was didn't delay VS004's arrival more than about 20 minutes at LHR -- and I'd be willing to bet the typical morning queue at LHR was the more likely culprit.[}:)]

VS46 was cancelled yesterday. Could it have been this flight rather than VS4?

Yes, my typing error, it was VS46. I was on VS10 which left at 1235 ... funny, whenever I take the 10 it's always late (memo for the future). Consequently whoever could be squeezed on to the 10 was and I suspect an awful lot of people we're in hotels for the night. Logistical nightmare and also, maybe, resulted in a somewhat fractious and bad-tempered crew. So not an enjoyable evening!

You can say THAT again! LOL

Most other flights were full, so no chance of re-booking more than a handfull of pax... hotels also quite full. Imagine trying to sort out that many people!

Happened to me in 2003 LHR - LAX when hydraulic fluid was found leaking from the leading undercarriage. We departed 5 hrs later, with one very unhappy crew who began the day thinking they were headed to NYC. I
