I've not seen this posted anywhere else on the forum, but maybe I've missed it...
The VS Drive-Through at LHR is going to be on the move in the next month or so, because of the demolition of Car Park 3.
Car Park 3 is being replaced by a new carpark built over the top of the Heathrow Express station, and after Car Park 3 has been demolished, the drop-off lanes for Terminal 3 will be expanded, removing some of the bottlenecks which build up.
I'm not exactly sure where the new VS Drive-Through will be, but it looks like it will be somewhere on the outside of the terminal, at the back of the wing VS currently use for check-in. It's a shame that you won't have that short walk across the bridge to Fast Track any more, but that's progress for you.
