Folks, here's another report on airport readiness for the A380:

China's Main Airports Say They Can Accommodate the Airbus A380

It was announced this week by Airbus that China's main airports will be able to accommodate the biggest passenger aircraft-- Airbus A380 Super Jumbo Aircraft.

Airbus says Hong Kong International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport will be able to adequately accommodate the A380, along with an expanded Beijing Capital International Airport, which will be ready by the 2008 Olympic Games.

A380’s main standby airports and possible destinations include Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Macao, Chengdu, Xi’an, Wuhan, Kunming, Tianjing, Dalian and Nanjing.

Regards,
Chuck-
