Can you access the VS web site by typing in an IP address into your web browser?

Try entering 195.92.230.28 into your web browser and see if the VS web site comes up.

Don't panic it was BT. They had big problems yesterday, I lost my broadband connection about lunch time and got it back about 7pm.

I've just been reading my ISP status page and it seems there are ongoing issues with one of the Telehouse data centres in London, where a lot of ISP's (mine included) have routers and other connection equipment located. Problems started Fri/Sat.

I've was booted off my ISP (Plus.net) a few hours ago for 20mins, as they lost all connectivity to the Telehouse datacentres in London.

Some of the transit peers such as Linx and Level 3 which basically handle all the UK's internet traffic are also having ongoing problems, hence the reason why some users on different ISP's cannot currently access some web sites both based in and outside the UK.
