Ummm.... No. [?]

Entirely dependent on mileage/revenue availability, of course, along with the class you booked in. (A bit more detail in the OP would be useful ;))

I'd say that would be worth it, if you can - go for it!

It definitely the place to be when you are in PE - just take a walk downstairs during the flight into Y and PE down there and you will see what I mean - its a wonderful experience.

And I assume - that you booked with Virgin Holidays seeing as you are going to upgrade - dont forget you can get a 10% discount on the price if that is the case if you are a Flying Club member!

One small point: there are PE seats downstairs in the LGW flights and so a PE booking will not guarantee you being up top with the driver. If you specifically want upstairs you may want to phone VS and check seat availability. So you've a reference go here and look up any "LGW/MAN Suite" aircraft to understand the seat numbering.

No there is only 1 flight to St Lucia on a Sunday, the one you are on. As others ahve said, PE upstairs if fab, but until you have checked in, there is no promise you will be upstairs, the pre-selcting of seats is only a reserve and things might and do change.

Just to add to Neil's information there is only one VS flight to St Lucia on the days that it is a destination (Sunday, Tuesday, Friday?). Use the on line seat assignment and on line check (OLCI) in to maximise your chances of getting upstairs. It worked out for us in the summer and odds on it will work out for you too.
