A recent trip report on Sky Trax dated the 28th August from LGW-MBJ Upper Class - states " We were given very nice Ozwald Boateng amenity pack, containing a pen, cufflinks, eye shades, wash kit etc" - Was the end of line kits or have they started the kits again?

I asked the FSM on my flight and she was not sure but said that they had removed them because they were mostly being left behind by people. I guess it will depend on customer feedback? Or at least you would hope that is the case!

As pointed out in numerous posts, including earlier in this thread and in the largest post on the site, the old kits have been replaced with the snooze packs and are not coming back.

I notice from the Trip Reports section of this forum that DylanDog & his party got OB kits on their outward flight from LGW to MCO in mid-August.

What are VS doing - are they allowing stocks of the old OB kit to run out on each aircraft before they replace them with Scrooge Packs? If this is the case, then if all aircraft carry similar stocks of the kits, then the LGW/MAN aircraft have an advantage due to their smaller UC cabin.

As Far as i know the kits are loaded each flight for the No of seats on board i would imagine it wold come on with things like blankets and duvets e.t.c

Sorry, I should really have asked the CC why we had OB packs ( I could have sounded like a UC veteran, rather than gawking at the seat like a country yokel;)).

I blame the 9 hours in the clubhouse with free drinks [:I]

I couldn't remember if we'd ever actually had a picture of the "snooze pack" yet, so have just uploaded a couple I took of the incarnation I received on VS020 17th September.

Interior:

(explanation of wording & contents are in photo comments, the photo page is linked in the exterior/interior titling)

Hi Guys,

We've hit 10 pages with this topic now, and I think we have everything covered off that can be said about the 'offering', so I'll lock it down.

Any questions/issues, let me know.

Thanks,
Richard
