I don't get the measurements now, the length is fine, but it doesn't seem right that the width is bigger than the depth, I am confused.

I need length, width and height..

The MAN airport dimensions are also slightly larger than those shown on VA.

Can anyone help me out, I havemy rule at hand as we speak[}:)]

mmmm just also noticed the MAN depth measurements are 9cms more than those on VA

EGG-When on the phone to book limo I queried the new regs (for make up, baggage and everything else!!!). Very abrupt assistant told me that it was nothing to do with him (sorry- who employs you as a member of premier????)and that VS have their own regs/guidelines and are not beheld to DTO, BAA etc ... Left me very confused and feeling somewhat chastised!.Still don't know what I can really take with me....Help me somebody please- I felt like I was 11 years old and up before the housemistress (not a good situation!).

I would have been asking to speak to a supervisor if that had happened to me. That attitude is appalling. [V] In addition to that he is wrong in saying VS is not beholden to DTO,BAA, etc. VS regs would be based on what the Dept of Transport and BAA had laid down.

One of two answers. Select the one that seems most apt in your opionion:

1) I would count on the size restriction on your suitcase being quite strict. Stick with in the size limits.
2) If you think you can add 120% to your width in a few short weeks you have been reading too many adverts in a certain kind of magazine.;)

HL,I did say to him that I thought it was the DTO/BAA who issues the regs-his response was that as a carrier VS can also impose their own rules and can thus demand smaller bag measurements than the DTO and BAA allow etc etc.Like I said left me muddled and desperate to get off the phone -never had a problem speaking to premier before- they're usually fantastic.Should have asked for a supervisor[:(!] like you suggest but I was totally thrown.

Ahhhh, in that case, I'm pretty sure he was factually correct - as long as VS' requirements aren't larger the "higher authority" requirements, then they're ok. Note, I'm not condoning his attitude as that's completely appalling and I'd make a complaint about that, by letter if necessary [}:)][V][V]

Cheers
