Hi,:D:D I have just recently registered for the forum but have been actively looking on the site for months now. My in-laws purchased uc tickets in July for travel in February to Orlando. We are travelling too but have booked directly with VH and seemed to get a good deal. However my in-laws may have problems travelling on the ticketed date due to health reasons. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to alter the travel dates on their tickets as it states that they are non-tranferrable.[:?]
It all depends on the fare class that your in-laws tickets are booked in. If they are in J or D class (both fairly "full fare" Upper class fares), then they should be able to change their flights with ease - especially if on a J fare, as this is "full fare, 100% flexible" ticket.
If they are travelling on a Z fare - i.e. heavily discounted UC fare, then the answer will almost certainly be "no" to a change, unless the flight they want to change onto is empty, or they have a Doctors letter & someone sympathetic in VS UC team.
