I logged into the VS website today and a pop-up appeared with a survey about the web site run by a company called Novartis - it was called the "Air Web Track" questionnaire. There is the usual incentive of going into a prize draw if you complete it.

The survey asked about using the web site and comparisons between VS and any other airline booking websites you may have used .

It also had some questions about the VS site - OLCI, booking processes etc.

Personally I dont use the VS site for booking very much as I only tend to fly VS when Im going on holiday ( and book thru VH) but those of you who use it for booking will probably be able to pass better comment than I.

VS used to give away miles for doing these types of survey's before, did they not?

I had a quick peek at this survey (initially blocked as Spam on my browser) and i'm sorry, but its appalling. The window looks awful, unprofessional, and is hard to navigate. Whoever designed it needs to go read a few chapters over at W3C and see how a web form should be constructed.

I cant help look at it and realise why there is such a discrepancy between the feedback VS seem to collect and the thoughts of Frequent Flyers. [:(] There is only one space to give opinions as opposed to rating things. I closed the window in the end.

Thanks,
Sarah

The same survey (and I mean the EXACT same survey) was running on ba.com a while ago (I posted a thread about it).

I have to agree with Sarah 100% on this. I was just changing some seats for a colleague of mine and had the survey pop up (after been initially blocked - surely most people have pop-up blockers now, so is this the best way to get the survey completed by most people?).

I found it really difficult to navigate, poorly set out, too many multi-choice questions, and poor options for answering the questions. Surely if VS think this is the best way to get feedback, then there should be more chances during it to actually tell them what we think is wrong and what changes we would like to see?. How is me telling them I find BA or BMI's website easier to see there schedules going to help them improve if they don't know what I like better about it? Also at one point it asked me why I don't use OLCI, but at no point during the survey did I say I didn't, so just to move on I clicked "other" not giving any reasons, really helpful to VS, not!

For me, overall its too long and too wishy-washy (the correct technical term I believe[:I])with the questions and answers available, surely there is a better way to get more beneficial feedback.

Neil:)
