The deal was always that the flight had to be on HP metal.. I think a lot of the SFO-LAS flights operated by America West (i.e. US airways) are actually operated by MESA airlines. Not sure if this may have been the issue.

Flew on HP metal - the flight itself was very good- nice big, soft and comfy leather seats so I don't know that this is the issue[:?].

Spoke with FC the other day--just to confirm--VS were off the US/HP miles/tp from 6 November, but are now back on--full tier points (2 for flights >2000 miles first/1 for Y) and miles for flights that are HP/USAIR metal, but not their express partners (eg air wisconsin). It's probably a good idea to register your VS FC # prior to flying as USAIR airport desk clerks will be struggling with this one for quite a while!
