Hi, I am looking to book 6 PE fares to Orlando for Christmas, how long do you recommend I hold out for cheap fares?

Also, if I booked two of the flights separately could I use my flying club number on both bookings even though we would be on the same flight?

Thanks

What dates specifically? If it's any time after the 15th December, but before 24th - the prices will typically only be going UP after the K seats are initially released.

If before then, or after Christmas day, there are often last-minute sale fares.

Having said that, if you want to guarantee 6 people in PE - think of a price you're HAPPY to pay, if the fare comes out at that, book it. Then NEVER EVER look at a future air fare sale again...

Not sure what you think you might gain by this? Miles and tier points are awarded to the individual flying so long as they themselves are an FC member - you can't earn miles for other people, even if you pay for the ticket. There are also some restictions on children becoming FC members in their own right. If you were Gold FC there is a variation to this but I suspect not.

You could make miles more friends referrals for the other 5 in your party to get them to be FC members and, providing they fly a qualifying fare (all of PE fares qualify from my recollection), you would get a referral bonus for each one.

You can only earn miles and tier points for the flights YOU have flown on. There have been cases of people booking two seats for themselves and getting miles and tier points for both seats, that is a bit of a grey area in the T&C's though. You cannot apply your FC number to another passengers booking. I'd go with Pat and refer them all before you book!

Thanks,
