It won't be called Ladybird - as VS already have a B744 with this name (reg no G-VAST).

Kraken,

Please check all previous discussions first. It may be called "Lady Bird" not "Ladybird" as VAST.

There were long discussions on this topic last year.

Apologies for the original reply - I've been a regular visitor to this forum since about last April & did not recall the discussions that had taken place previously.

The actual name of the aircraft isnt really important, its the registration that is key and cannot be duplicated, so i wouldnt be surprised if we did get another Ladybird, although its hardly original. Maybe they should call it Herbie! :)

Thanks,
Sarah

AFAIK, operationally/technically a/c are referred to by there are regs, not their names.

I totally agree with you Snow.

May Sarah's wings be shiny things
That flutters through the sky.
May her two new engines sing a song
When eventually she does fly
May SarahÕs bodywork stay sleek and lean
and her isle and seats be comfy and clean

May her journeys be safe when in the sky
And may her tail name "virgin" never die.

Sorry Sarah I guess the water is going to me head.

Cheers Wayne
