Richard,
everytime we use DTD to check in, they never have the purple boarding cards and I always have to change them at MCO. (Too many times when queuing for the red carpet have I been asked if I know I am in the wrong queue because of the red boarding pass)
is it just me who is unlucky like this?

Alan, no its not you, DTD don't have the purple boarding passes. They really are not geared up for Upper Class passengers, we were told that they rarely get UC pax checking in there, hence the lack of facilities, i would not bother using DTD unless i was travelling in Y.

Thanks,
Sarah

Sarah,

They did a couple of weeks ago ... although that was a first for us.

P.S Ade, I think I know whom you met at DTD, as Sarah and I encountered an entire group of people that were downright useless. If you are Gold or travelling in UC, don't use DTD.

The only reason we used DTD as the day before I called the premier team and had a great chat to one of the girls who lives in our road and her best friend lives next door to us, she coudln't free the seats up 'computer said no' and she even spent 30mins getting her supervisor to try to sort it out but coudln't. It was nice of her she called us back at the hotel and apologised and said try DTD as it was early but we both laughed as she and I knew of their rep!

I apologise in advance if I'm supposed to know this as I am a VF member but what's DIBB please? [?]I guess I am only actually asking what some other members are thinking. I don't mind being labelled a saddo.x

No, Golds will always come first. Assuming that their FQTV #'s are actually in their PNR.

Thanks,
Richard

To be fair - it's a bit of a new one on me in terms of "official" acronyms also (maybe a Mannion Special).

BUT I presume Richard means FreQuent TraVeller Numbers (#)

Hmmm, much too obvious I'm sure. What's wrong with putting FC# etc? Why create daft acronym's for the sake of it?

its not an acronym for the sake of it. The travel industry uses entries in a reservation which detail certain information, including frequent flyer numbers . the way it is entered is FQTV or sometimes as FQTR. Just FYI.

Hmm. Star Alliance seem to stick with FT# - from all the docs I've seen.
