Premium Economy Upgrades with Virgin credit card

I apologise in advance for asking this question because firstly, I'm sure the answer is already on here somewhere and secondly, I've had the documentation but lost it[:I] but can I find the answer???? No!!

When I took out the Amex white card I'm sure I read something about free Premium Economy upgrades being issued after either so many months of having the card or after spending so many miles???? Am I dreaming this, or does anyone else remember this?

I'm sure you experts will immediately know the answer which is why I'm a bit embarrassed to ask. If I'm right in thinking this, do you know how the upgrades will be issued? Will they show as "credits" on the statement?
