30,000 Sign Petition for Virgin America

Had a surprise in my e-mail inbox today. Having signed up at http://www.letvafly.com for updates on Virgin America, I was happy to learn the following:

* To date, over 30,000 people have signed the DOT petition to allow Virgin America to finally get its wings

* A significant additional investment has been made in the company

* Former US Transportation Secretary Sam Skinner has been added to the Virgin America board of directors

Let's see what the DOT does with all this information!
