OK, in order not to bore you all rigid, I will try and summerise what has been a rather complicated scenario.

In September last year I wanted to book 4 Upper Class return Tickets to Orlando from gatwick via Virgin Holidays for August this year. It transpires that VH only have an early allocation of 2 seats in UC so I could book 2 in UC and 2 in PE with the premise that I could upgrade later when further seats are released. To cut a very very long story short, I ended up having to make 2 x seperate bookings of 2 x UC (1 Adult plus 1 child).

The leads me on to the question....

My booking which includes my son and I are travelling D (great deal thru VH)out and Z back, whereas my Wife's booking together with my other son is Z out and D return.
Can I book a limo transfer going out on my D ticket, and have my wife and two sons travel with me, plus my wife use her D ticket on return for the same or will VA kick up a fuss - I have read somewhere that the norm is 3 passengers rather than 4 or a larger car has to be ordered and will they stand for this considering only 2 passengers will be travelling on a D ticket at anyone time ??

Cheers
Macca

All I can suggest is phone up and try to book it, and say there will be a total of 4 pax (2 of which are children), all travelling Upper Class, sharing the car.

Just give them the outbound "D" booking ref, and tell them there will be another two pax from the same address, travelling on the same flight. Likewise for the return.

If they query the slightly convoluted bookings, just explain that's how the buckets worked out when you booked/upgraded through VH.

The boot space on the Volvos that Tristar use should be plenty unless you insist on taking everything but the kitchen sink, my recollection is that they are particular cavernous.

In theory, you can take sharers up to the capacity of the car, as you suggest.

Hope that the Premier team person is in a good mood, if it turns out that you need the bigger car.

Just to add to what Mike said - last year my son and I went to MCO. I had a D fare on the way out and we both had Z fares on the way back as the limo is of no earthly use to us here. Because of this we had two separate booking references and PNRs but it was recodrded that my son would be travelling in the car also. I know it's two as opposed to your four but just to show you that a Z may travel with a D

As Mike suggested call and book and explain the situation

On each leg, you have two travellers travelling in D - as I see it, that's TWO individual entitlements to a limo, so I can't see why thy should complain if each "D" traveller is taking a UC guest with them.

It makes sense for the whole party to travel together, but it seems to me that you could demand two cars each way if they won't allow four to travel in one car.

Thanks for the replies, I will have to try and use my wit and charm - or better still get the wife to call them !
