39 TPs in my first year, will they stretch it?

First year flying VS and I am closing the year with 39TPs.

Do you think they might allow me gold, or do I have to book a US domestic flight I don't really need?

Seriously doubt they'll allow you Gold as it's a slippery slope. Of course if you can show you have 3 UC flights booked already for next year and would thus requalify then who knows? .

Take the extra flight to be sure if you want the Gold. I can't imagine them letting you 'off' with 1 point either. Otherwise where does it stop?

No didn't think so, sounds like I will be making an internal ANA flight when we are in japan rather than the bullet train...
