Likelyhood of more G's opening up

Booked in PE on NRT-LHR in a month, and the last G went before I had enough miles to grab it. There are still at least 8 UC seats available, on the day, if there is space will the let me upgrade?

Should be able to upgrade at the airport if there is space available (although occassionally they play the 'no catering' card if they've upgraded others).

Curious to know how you're seeing 8+ seats available. Thought the maximum depth of the bucket for Virgin was normally 7?

Pete, I just tried to book 8 UC seats on the flight...
As an aside, just in case I called to reserve my PE seat, the girl(woman) was deligthed to tell me that I could have 19A, and get extra legroom. Not sure how that works with 18A right in front of it but unavailable for reservation...

Ah, 8 seats available for purchase isn't the same as 8 physical seats available...
