RTW using miles

Does anyone know how the RTW fares are with miles?

I can't see anywhere on the Virgin Atlantic or Great Escapade websites where you are given the option of paying for your RTW ticket with miles.

Are you sure it is possible to do so?

As I see it, the only way to do it would be to pay for each leg separately.

UA does offer a RTW but VS? hmmmmm. Maybe in a year...


You could book LHR-HKG-SYD and Buy SYD-LAX then VS LAX-LHR. Book all the VS segments as one way awards. Simple. I would wait a year. I get a feeling that there will be VS awards LAX-SYD onw way....
