September 11th has apparently seen a huge dip in bookings, as per usual since 2001.

I wouldn't even think of avoiding it.

Its like after the London bombings, so many people said "I'll never sit upstairs at the back of a bus now". Why? That's the only place Terrorists can sit?

I was booked on VS7 on Sept 11th 2002. I was advised around a week before the flight that I was being moved to VS23 as VS7 was not going to happen that day. That flight (VS23) was less than half full. There was a definite nervous frisson during the flight.

September is a quiet time on many routes.
the LGW-MCO route ahd a few cancellations every year as yeilds are low.

Should be easier for them to be on time then! [}:)]

The VS300 to DEL on the 10th SEP had a medical emeergency and diverted to AMS.
Not sure what happened to the VS18 maybe it had something to do with lack of A/C
The VS9 was also CANX on the 11SEP not sure why.
There has been lots of problems lately. I have flown on several flight with problems.
I flew on SEP 11 and the flight was full.
